These principles are: competitive employment, systematic job development, rapid job search, integrated services, benefits planning, no client exclusion, worker preferences, and time-unlimited supports. IPS services are typically delivered by supported employment teams that operate within community mental health agencies. These teams work with their agency's clinical staff to coordinate services.
